| What information do I need to register on Buxfer? You just need a valid email address to register on Buxfer. The signup form on the front page just asks for your email and password and that's all the information we ever need. You can also sign-up on Buxfer using your Yahoo, Facebook or Google accounts. We do not store your email or password information when you use this method. However, we recommend you provide us with your email address anyway so that we can send you notifications when your friends add transactions with you. | | What is activation of an account? How and when do I need to do it? To verify the email address you used for signup, we send an email containing a special url. Upon clicking this url, your account is said to be activated. If you do not activate your account within 24 hours after signing up, you will not be able to login to Buxfer. | | What happens if it is past 24 hours since I signed up, and I still have not received my activation email? Check the spam folder of your email address. To have us send you another activation email, login with your email address again. If you still do not receive the activation email, send an email to support@bbleepuxfer.com, and we will promptly help you out. | |
